The Line Vision 98 Skis are considered to be the “Goldilocks” width range for true all mountain versatility. The Vision 98 is light, but it offers a lot of stability for all-mountain skiing as well. Line’s Partly Cloudy Core is designed with a blend of lightweight woods that creates an excellent strength to weight ratio leaving you feeling like there’s nothing on your feet while feeling like you still have something to put some energy into. On top of the core is Line’s Triple Hybrid Construction which are three different composite laminates that add power and stiffness to the ski. With that said, the Vision 98 offers a ton of playfulness and forgiveness and doesn’t take very much effort at all to really get this ski to do what you want it to do. Tip and tail rocker let you smear, slash and butter your way through anything you want and early taper on both ends of the ski provides a hook free feel in any snow condition. Overall, just a tremendously fun and easy to handle ski that freeride skiers will truly enjoy. By the same token, you do not need to have a freeride background to enjoy this ski.
