The Ride Peace Seeker Snowboard has taken influence from many different models in the Ride line up, but is truly original in its own design. With more than two years design study with Vermont’s own Jake Blauvelt, this fish-style board is equally adept at flowing through powder as it is a s railing turns on icy hardpack. Taking a shape cue from the Warpig, transitions through the turn are effortlessly made by way of a Bi-Radical Sidecut, which is twin sidecut which provides improved leverage on landings, grip through turns, and stability. Directional Extra Camber helps drive support through the back end of the turn, and provides a natural transition through the turns finish allowing you to easily transfer into the next turn. The sharp, half-moon tail is inspired by the Moutain Pig, which creates a fin like surfing feeling in deep snow that anchors the tail and prevents washout. A secondary layer of glass over the tail of the board helps maintain that edge hold and increases strength. (This correlates to longboard single fin technology and double glass layering in surfboard construction) Glass Pedal, which is a diamond shaped laminate, directs torsional stiffness to help provide instant power through the turns finish without increasing stiffness in the tip of the board.
