2026 Atomic Hawx Magna XTD 105 GW Women's Ski Boots
New for the 2025 season, the Atomic Hawx Magna XTD 105 has been a welcome addition to the already vast XTD hybrid line. Advanced skiers with wider feet looking for one boot to do it all have not had a lot of options in the past. The Atomic Hawx Magna XTD 105 provides them with a high tech and versatile option for skiing in and out of bounds.
Why we like it:
There’s a lot to like about the Hawx Magna XTD 105, but our favorite thing about it that it is giving more people the option to get out into the backcountry. As resorts get more crowded more skiers are wanting to explore outside the boundaries, and the Hawx Magna XTD 105 is helping more people to accomplish this goa
Who it's for:
With a 102 millimeter last, advanced skiers with high volume feet are the optimal candidate for the Hawx Magna XTD 105. It is a strong option for those skiers looking for a one boot solution for both inbounds and backcountry skiing.
Highlights:
Some big highlights for us are the customization and versatility of the Hawx Magna XTD 105. Atomic has included their Memory Fit shell and Mimic Gold liner in the boot, allowing skiers the option of shaping the shell and liner to all the contours of their feet. The Free/Lock 4.5 walk mode can also adjust the forward lean angle for the downhill, creating a more upright or forward stance. The Prolite designed shell is reinforced in key areas to ensure the boot is powerful and transfers power while remaining light, and the Cast Tech inserts give skiers a natural walking motion when skinning.
Things to consider:
The one downside we can find about the Hawx Magna XTD 105 is that it is not yet available in size 22.5. First year runs of boots will sometimes leave out the smallest size offering, so hopefully that option will be coming down the line soon.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Atomic does a pretty great job on their high volume fit, keeping the boot comfortable without losing too much performance. For the correct foot, the Hawx Magna XTD 105 will feel snug through the heel and over the top of the foot, all while having ample room in the forefoot so cold toes are a thing of the past.
