2025 Blizzard Anomaly 88 Skis
Brand-new for 2025, the Blizzard Anomaly 88 fills the shoes of the legendary Brahma 88. This ski is an absolute beast that provides top end carving performance and high-speed stability, but now with a more intuitive and slightly forgiving construction and shape. As a result of this new construction and shape, there is more potential for skiers to find a bigger sweet spot while still retaining that top end for skiers who liked the Brahma 88.
Why we like it:
Raw power, edge grip, and carving performance that is followed by loads of energy released at the end of the turn.
Who it's for:
Strictly in the advanced to expert level category with an emphasis on carving performance. The Anomaly 88 is a beast and has a speed minimum which means that it requires a lot of skier input. Physically strong skiers with a racing background or experience with frontside carving will get the most out of this ski.
Highlights:
Blizzard’s Trueblend All mtn Core provides tailored flex patterns to certain portions of the ski to be forgiving when needed yet stable and powerful when you want it to be. Fluxform All mtn Ti provides incredible torsional stiffness resulting in maximum edge grip as well as unrivaled dampness and stability at high speeds.
Things to consider:
The Anomaly 88 is quite a powerful ski that can punish those who do not know how to properly carve/maneuver a ski. Due to its stiffness and weight, less physically strong skiers would have a seriously tough time.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Skis true to size. Sizing down slightly is very common, and we would highly recommend doing that for more maneuverability.
