2025 Jones Aviator 2.0 Snowboard
The Aviator 2.0 from Jones comes back unchanged for the 2025 season. This is the stiffest and hardest charging board in Jones line up. This board is not only great for railing turns on groomers at high speeds but also gives you exceptional float in deep snow. This board is packed full of spring-loaded energy and pop that makes it a great freestyle option as well.
Why we like it:
The stiff and responsive flex gives the Aviator 2.0 excellent stability and edge hold on even the iciest groomers. The directional twin shape makes it a great option for the park and easy to ride switch without sacrificing deep snow performance. The spoon shaped nose makes for easier turn initiation making it more maneuverable off trail through glades and moguls.
Who it's for:
The Aviator 2.0 is ideal for progressing intermediate to advanced riders who don't want to limit themselves to any one condition or terrain. This board is stable and responsive on hard packed easy coast groomers but still gives you plenty of float on a powder day. Built with enough camber to give you tons of spring-loaded pop for bigger ollies.
Highlights:
The Power Core on the Aviator 2.0 combine bamboo and paulownia for exceptional durability and pop without compromising weight. Koroyd®, a synthetic material developed by aerospace engineers is used in the core to provide exceptional vibration dampening making for a smooth damp ride. Power Basalt Stringers that run from the inserts to the tip and tail give this board some added stability and edge when you need it.
Things to consider:
The stiffer flex on the Aviator makes it harder to maneuver at slower speeds for more entry level riders but this provides plenty of stability when railing turns. The full camber profile can make it a little easier to catch an edge and fall but the spoon shaped nose helps with this.
Fit & sizing considerations:
The Aviator 2.0 rides true to size, but you can size down for more maneuverability.
