2025 Jones Twin Sister Women's Snowboard
The Twin Sister from Jones is a playful all-mountain twin built for those riders who want a maneuverable board that can make the whole mountain your terrain park. Whether you are launching off any natural hit you can find, weaving through the glades, or just cruising on the groomers, this board has everything you need to have fun.
Why we like it:
Don't let the twin shape fool you, the Twin Sister is not only restricted to the park, but it can also do a little bit of everything. The set back stance helps with floatation in deep snow and the moderate flex and 3D Contour base make it maneuverable and easy to initiate turns off trail through tight trees and moguls. This board also has just enough camber to give you the stability and edge hold for carving down groomers.
Who it's for:
The Twin Sister is geared toward Intermediate level riders who are looking to do more than just lap the park. Don't get us wrong, this board is perfectly happy doing that, but it also can handle crud, deep, snow, and groomers just as well as a directional board.
Highlights:
The Control Core on the Twin Sister uses a Pauwlonia core with poplar stringers to provide an ultra-damp ride without sacrificing weight. The Power Basalt Stringers and Biax Fiberglass laminate give this board added stability and edge hold rip down groomers and plow through crud. A Sintered 8000 Base provides exceptional glide and holds wax for longer. Freeride/Freestyle Insert Packs allow you to set the stance according to the conditions or terrain you encounter.
Things to consider:
The twin shape and lack of taper in the tail can lack some flotation that you would get with a more directional rockered board. The Camber heavy profile provides additional stability and edge hold but can make it easier to catch an edge and fall for more entry level riders.
Fit & sizing considerations:
The Twin Sister rides true to size and comes in a wide variety of lengths for most riders.
