2025 K2 Almanac Snowboard

The Almanac is a new directional all-mountain and freestyle oriented board for K2’s 2025 line up. With the Party Platter discontinued for 2025 the Almanac fills the gap as a fun and playful freeride board that you can take anywhere on the mountain. Whether it's deep snow, groomers, or dipping in and out of the side country this board has got you covered.

Why we like it:

All the tip rocker and taper in the Almanac's give these skis excellent deep snow performance. The full camber profile and added carbon makes these a great option for cruising groomers giving you excellent stability and edge hold as well as tons of spring-loaded pop for bigger airs. The moderate flex makes it approachable and easy to maneuver for most riders.

Who it's for:

The Almanac is geared towards intermediate to advanced riders who don't want to be held back whether its icy east coast groomers or two feet of snow on a powder day. The shaping and rocker profile makes them maneuverable and easy to cut in and out of the side county or weave through tight trees or moguls.

Highlights:

The BAP Core on the Almanac is a combination of Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia which provides a damp and responsive ride without sacrificing weight or durability. The Ollie Bar is a pre-curved carbon strip between the inserts that provided more spring-loaded pop to increase your airtime and the Carbon Backbone that runs from tip to tail adds power and stability to help rail turns at high speeds without fear of chatter.

Things to consider:

The directional shape and taper on the Almanac make this board great in deep snow but can make it a little harder to ride and land switch. Although this board is not the stiffest option the full camber profile makes it a little easier to catch an edge and fall for more entry level riders.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Almanac is a Volume Shift board so you would want to downsize 3-5 cm from your typical length.
