2025 K2 Instrument Snowboard
The Instrument is a versatile all-mountain board from K2’s Landscape collection that excels in any condition. Packed full of technology to give this board the ability to take on any terrain. This board doesn't care if it's hard packed icy conditions or two feet of fresh snow, you can take this board anywhere and do anything. An ideal 1 board quiver that can put a smile on any rider's face.
Why we like it:
The Instrument provides plenty of versatility in variable snow conditions, whether you are laying down turns on hard packed groomers, plowing through deep powder, or launching off natural back country hits, this board is packed full of high-end technology to conquer any terrain.
Who it's for:
The Instrument is ideal for intermediate to advanced boarders who don't want to be limited to one specific terrain. This board can handle icy east coast groomers just as well as it can handle deep powder out west. Great for sending it off backcountry booters with the stability and control you need to ride away clean.
Highlights:
The ICG™ 10 Biax Carbon Fiberglass weave combine a fiberglass laminate with 10 carbon stringers that run from tip to tail to provide additions stability and edge hold you need to charge down the mountain. The Carbon Torque Forks™ on the contact points gives this board excellent control and helps hold you in the turn without fear of washing out and the S1 gives this board the durability to last for years of aggressive riding.
Things to consider:
The directional shape and 10 mm of taper in the tail give this board excellent floatation in deep snow but this can make it more difficult to ride or land switch. The camber profile gives this board tons of stability but can make it easier to catch an edge and fall for more entry level riders.
Fit & sizing considerations:
The Instrument is a Volume Shift™ board so you would want to downsize 3-5 cm from your normal length.
