The 2025 K2 Mindbender 90C is the ideal all-mountain ski for lighter skiers who do not need the stability and stiffness of a metal laminate ski for on trail cruising. A quitessential all-mountain performer, the 90C stands out from the saturated 90 mm all-mountain category with it’s use of carbon and freeride inspired shape. The result is a ski that is easy to maneuver and intuitive for bell-to-bell skiing in any condition.

The Mindbender 90C is very intuitive and does not require loads of user input which makes it approachable to a massive range of skiers coast to coast. A lot of skis in this category have metal or are pretty specific in terms of application while the 90C is more versatile in that respect.

K2’s Aspen Micro Block core uses small stringers of aspen to provide composure and stability as well as forgiving flex pattern for a well-balanced feel in deep snow. Carbon Spectral Braid fine-tunes the flex pattern of the ski to make the forebody of the ski have torsional stiffness for proper turn engagement while the tails have more longitudinal stiffness for stability and charging capacities. Things to consider:

The Mindbender 90C has a fairly supple flex pattern which makes it a great option for progressing intermediates and quickly progressing beginner skiers. This suppleness makes it slightly underpowered for more aggressive skiers and hard charging carving on firm snow. However, it’s shape and flex pattern work together in harmony to provide performance for those that are progressing quickly.
