The redesigned, 2025 Liberty Helix 99 is an all mountain freestyle twin tip that is packed with energy and pop, now with a more versatile shape and flex pattern. The DNA of the Helix is not altered but the versatile performance certainly gets a boost as tip and tail rocker has been lengthened along with a more progressive flex pattern. The result is a highly capable twin tip that makes the park span further than its designated location and expanded to every corner of the resort.

Why we like it:

The addition of more versatile characteristics with the changes made to the 99 makes a great choice for a responsive and energetic all mountain twin. It’s a wider bodied park ski that has more of a freestyle focus than its close siblings, the Scope 94 and 104.

Who it's for:

Advanced to expert freestyle skiers who seek a twin tip with a wider platform that also functions extremely well all over the mountain and not just in the park.

Highlights:

The Helix 99 features a bamboo and poplar woodcore with carbon fiber to produce a progressive flex pattern that is not only agile and playful in the park but supportive and composed when exploring the entire resort. Longer tip and tail rocker to the 99 compared to the outgoing 98 make the 99 more maneuverable and easy to maneuver, especially in softer snow and more technical off piste terrain.

Things to consider:

The Helix as a line is park oriented overall, but the 99 blurs the line between freestyle and freeride with more of its performance lying in the freestyle/park realm. There are plenty of twin tips in this category that skew more towards the freeride and all-mountain discipline that perform better if that is the type of skier you are.
