2025 Liberty Horizon 92 Skis

The All-new 2025 Liberty Horizon 92 is a directional freeride ski designed to excel in the backcountry. Constructed with weight savings in mind, this feather light ski offers power and performance wrapped up in a forgiving and agile package that can tackle long days in the backcountry, yet has the versatility to provide precision and strength on hard snow.

Why we like it:

The Horizon 92 is fun and agile in soft snow, but will rise to the occasion when pushed on hardpack.

Who it's for:

Advanced intermediate to expert skiers will appreciate the Horizon’s versatility and intuitive yet powerful feel.

Highlights:

The Horizon 92 is constructed using a variety of materials, and starts not with bamboo as we’ve seen in the past, but with Poplar and Ash woods for their energy and stability, respectively. This core is bolstered by carbon fiber and Liberty’s VMT, or Variable Metal Technology, which utilizes a titanal laminate in the ski for power and grip on firm snow. The titanal is full width underfoot but tapers as it extends out into the tips and tails, maintaining the softer flex in the tips and tails for forgiveness as well as intuitive turn initiation.

Things to consider:

Liberty’s departure from using Bamboo in most of their skis coincides with the departure of their manufacturing location from China to their new location in Europe. If manufacturing locale is of importance to you, this is definitely worth knowing.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These ski true to size.
