2025 Never Summer Harpoon Snowboard

The Harpoon from Never Summer is a surf inspired all-mountain board that can handle the deepest powder days and maneuver through the tightest situations. Built with the original hybrid camber/rocker profile that gives you enough stability and edge hold without sacrificing maneuverability or floatation.

Why we like it:

The shaping on the Harpoon makes it easy to transition from edge to edge and incredibly maneuverable. Nimble enough to maneuver off trail while still giving you the stability you need for high speeds. The set back stance and extra nose rocker makes this board a lot of fun on even the deepest snow days.

Who it's for:

The Harpoons would be good for beginner level riders all the way up to advanced. The moderate flex and shape make it approachable and easy to ride for anyone. This board is great for deep powder days out west and would be easy to turn through tight east coast glades.

Highlights:

Built with the Superlight wood core, the Harpoon is lightweight and won't tire you out so you can ride from first chair to last. A Power grip sidecut gives you extra contact points when on edge to give you better grip on harder packed icy conditions but is catch free when riding flat so no need to worry about catching an edge. The Carbon Max laminate gives you some added stability without compromising weight or durability and the RDS 2 Dampening system makes for a smooth damp ride through any conditions.

Things to consider:

The softer flex makes it approachable for all riders, but it can lack some stability for your heavier more aggressive riders. The directional shape and nose rocker make it a great option for deep snow but can make it harder to ride and land switch.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Harpoon is a volume shift board so you would want to downsize 3-5 cm from your typical length.
