The RDS 1 Dampening system uses rubber over the inserts and around the edge to dampen vibrations and absorb impact for a smoother ride. Extended Transition Areas in the tip and tail make for easier turn initiation and maneuverability without sacrificing stability or edge hold. The Power Surf wood core utilizes a combination of poplar and paulownia wood to reduce weight and increase durability.

Things to consider:

The directional shape and 20 mm of taper in the tail make this board a dream in powder but this also makes it a little harder to ride and land switch. The stiffer flex makes it harder to maneuver at slower speeds for your more entry level riders.
