The all-new 2026 Atomic Maverick 88 CTi is here! Atomic brings the versatility and soft snow performance from the wider Maverick CTI and applies that to this narrower, more frontside friendly 88 CTi. With a softer shovel and the addition of carbon, this is a widely appealing ski for all mountain adventures, and is significantly more nimble in trees, bumps, and technical terrain than the previous version.

The Maverick 88 CTi is going to be a great option for progressing intermeidate skiers who are looking for an approachable all mountain ski that will support their progression. More mellow expert skiers can also have a great experience on the Maverick, as it has top end performance as well.

Atomic made some pretty significant changes to the Maverick lineup for 2026, and the 88 CTi gets the benefit of added soft snow performance and a more intuitive, quick feel, opening up the ski to a broader group of skiers. Atomic achieves this by widening and softening the HRZN 3D tips, allowing the skis to steer and float more easily in soft snow. The addition of carbon to the construction gives the Maverick 88 CTi a more energetic and supple flex, maintaining the high performance but making it more approachable for more skiers.

Things to consider:

If you’re an aggressive skier who loved the precision of the previous Maverick 88 Ti, you may find this new construction to be too soft in the tips for your skiing style. The 2026 version prefers shorter, quicker turns over long high speed ones.
