2026 Head Oblivion 102 Skis with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings
The 2026 Head Oblivion 102 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is a purpose-built, athlete-driven twin tip that bridges the gap between freeride power and freestyle flair. Developed in collaboration with pro skier Cole Richardson, this ski combines a stiff, composed construction with a playful shape and light weight construction, allowing aggressive skiers to charge confidently, take off switch, or smear turns with control. We paired the Oblivion 102 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.
Why we like it:
It brings the best of both worlds—race-inspired precision and freeride strength in a twin-tip shape. The Oblivion 102 has the backbone to handle high speeds and variable snow but still feels light enough to stay creative in soft terrain and park hits.
Who it's for:
Ideal for advanced to expert skiers who want a stable, hard-charging twin that won’t fold under pressure. It’s built for those who blur the line between big-mountain lines and freestyle expression, and who need one ski that can stomp landings and slice through crud with equal confidence.
Highlights:
Constructed around a four-stringer poplar core with three additional PET recycled stringers, the Oblivion 102 offers a blend of sustainability, strength, and agility. Two layers of carbon fiber add stiffness and energy, while fiberglass laminates and damping layers round out the ride with smoothness and control. With a 22.8-meter turn radius in the 181 cm length and minimal taper, the ski is built for long arcs and powerful skiing but remains nimble due to its precise construction. The twin tip design and generous waist width give it the float and shape needed to venture from park laps into back bowls or big side hits. The Attack 14 GW’s FR PRO3 Toe contains 30 mm of elastic travel which provides a smooth and confidence inspiring feel when tracking though variable snow while also recentering the boot to its neutral position extremely well to keep you locked in, acting almost like a suspension system. NX FR Heel pieces have 16 mm of elastic travel which assists in prevent false-releases. These heel pieces also make stepping into and out of bindings with ease, even in deep snow.
Things to consider:
This ski leans toward the stiff side of the twin-tip spectrum. It’s not the soft, buttery park ski some may expect from a twin, and its longer turning radius makes it better suited to open terrain over tight, quick transitions.
Fit & sizing considerations:
These skis ski slightly long due to their stiffness and turn radius. Lighter or more playful riders may want to size down for quicker handling, while heavier or high-speed skiers should stick with their freeride length for maximum stability and drive.
