Dalbello Veloce 105 MV W Ski Boot
Designed with women in mind, the Veloce 105 MV is an excellent option for the advanced skier who wants a high performance boot that doesn’t sacrifice comfort. The Veloce 105 MV does not skimp on features and has some of the best technology Dalbello has to offer.
Why we like it:
We really like the Veloce 105 MV and Dalbello for adding features that benefit female skiers and help address issues in ski boots that some women have had for years.
Who it's for:
The Veloce 105 MV will work best when paired with an advanced skier. The boot is powerful but has a relaxed fit, so average width feet fit well in the Veloce 105 MV.
Highlights:
Using a powerful PU shell from the race room, the Veloce 105 MV skis very well. Power transfer and rebound in the boot are top level, enabling skiers to control their skis precisely and powerfully. The MyFit shell and liner allow for different shapes and contours of feet with many options for customization. The rear of the liner cuff is cut down to allow calf muscles that attach lower to the leg, and the circumference of the shell cuff can expand by five centimeters. The AutoFit tongue is comfortable out of the box for most, and highly customizable to be comfortable for even more leg shapes.
Things to consider:
Truly narrow feet are going to find the Veloce 105 MV to be too high volume. If you have a low volume foot and want good compression and precision, this might not be the boot for you.
Fit & sizing considerations:
The Veloce 105 MV features a heel pocket that is snug, but not overly tight. Dalbello has designed the rearfoot to the heel to tapers to better match the average female foot. Over the top of the foot is tight, so skiers with a tall instep might feel overly compressed. The toe box feels generous and comfy, with extra insulation added around the forefoot to ensure warmth throughout the day.
