A wonderfully flexible hybrid insulator jacket for women, the Hybrid Insulator Jacket by Helly Hansen makes full use of their new Lifa® Loft™ insulation, a combination of Lifa® fibers and Primaloft® technology, Lifa®Loft™ is lighter, and traps more air, than a comparable polyester fill, and has a smaller environmental footprint, for less impact on carbon production and water use. This hybrid is designed for the woman who wants to add a piece to her wardrobe she’ll make use of year around, and will cover virtually every sport, from skiing to running, biking to sailing. The Lifa® fiber used in the insulation of this piece is hydrophobic, making the piece naturally water resistant, and quick to wick. Stretch fleece panels give you easy movement in a longer cut than a standard insulator jacket, stretch in the sleeves for a greater range of motion, and a hood, for popping up when the cold closes in. The slightly longer cut of this jacket is balanced by the use of stretch fleece in the lower body, this will layer nicely under a shell as an insulator, and be ready to go as a stand alone jacket for your aerobic sports as well.
