Marmot Lightray Gore Tex Men's Jacket
Men who are familiar with the Marmot Lightray Jacket, get excited; this already sweet piece got an upgrade for the 2021 season. It’s still that awesome waterproof ski jacket you’ve come to love, but now with a little bit of extra warmth. You can feel good knowing that Marmot has a constant mindset for reducing their environmental impact, to help protect the places we love to recreate. The Marmot Lightray Jacket for men uses a durable 2-layer GORE-TEX® fabric, using 100% recycled polyester. To aid the exterior shell with superior waterproofing, the jacket uses a PFC free durable waterproofing repellency treatment - which uses natural materials instead of harmful Per-fluorinated chemicals. To seal the deal on waterproofing, every stitch is seam taped, so no water will penetrate the fabric. The latest update to the Marmot Lightray Jacket is the addition of PrimaLoft® Eco Black insulation; a lightweight insulator that will not feel bulky, and is made from 60% recycled materials. Now the jacket will be more substantial for a variety of cold days on the mountain. There are a lot of comfort features that make this jacket ideal for the resort. The hood is helmet compatible, and you won’t have to worry about having your view obstructed by the hood, because the synch will tighten for the hood to move with your head. For maximum comfort around the face, the top of the zipper is covered with the DriClime® Lined Chin Guard. If you feel like wearing your jacket around town, the powder skirt can zip away, so it’s not poking below the jacket. The updated men’s Marmot Lightray Jacket has increased the functionality to be able to handle even more days ripping up the slopes.
