Lightweight RDS 2.0-certified 850 fill power down knickers made for ski touring and insulating under shells for backcountry and lift serviced skiing the Norrona Lyngen Down850 Women's Knickers have nicely practical recycled Primaloft in the seat to provide extra warmth when the down is compressed… and insure you’re still insulated if you sit down on rough ice and poke a hole in the down-proof 10D recycled nylon fabric face fabric. Designed to be used on the fly during ski tours these have a full-length zipper along the sides to allow you to pop them on over ski boots and the top of your pants to keep you toasty warm during a break. A custom fit waist system allows for the room you need when you’re wearing them as an outer layer, and cinches in when you’re wearing them under your shell as a midlayer. And rather nicely, you don’t have to completely unzip them when you’re wearing them as a midlayer, they have a conventional zip fly front for when you’re layering them under shells. A piece that packs into its own pocket and comes in at a feathery 200 grams once you own a pair of these you’ll find their infinitely useful in extending the range of everything from your ski shells to your ski tours… to the range of your sleeping bag by providing extra insulation when you stuff yourself into the sack.
