It’s pretty cool when bike companies can make a relatively short-travel ride feel like a lot cushier one. Thanks to Pivot’s ability to blur lines between XC, Trail, and Enduro riding, this bike can quite literally do it all. The pedal response is quick and accurate, feeding into the notion that climbing can be just as fun as descending. For many riders, it’s all about getting out there and exploring endless miles of single track. For others, it’s all about hammering down and letting it rip. Either way, it’s all about having fun, and there are very few bikes that are better equipped than the Pivot Trail 429.
