Yakima Full Swing Bike Hitch Mast

Yakima’s FullSwing hitch rack is a simplistic way to transport bikes, and provides easy access to the trunk of your vehicle. Even when fully loaded with bikes, the FullSwing has the capability to open at a 90 degree angle, making sure the rack is completely out of the way of the rear door. The FullSwing is a great way to carry four bikes, ranging from kids to adults. This rack has a total carry weight of 150lbs; Yakima suggests a maximum of 40 lbs per bike. Designed for everything from road bikes to mountain bikes, even those heavier cruisers. Installation is very easy with the Auto-Pin technology; just slide the rack into the hitch receiver, and wait for the click; then turn the SpeedKnob until tight. This rack does require a 2” hitch receiver. Yakima’s FullSwing holds your bike with two fully padded arms that allow the bike to rest underneath the top tube of the frame. The new ratcheting ZipStrips lock the top of the frame to the padded arms, to make sure the bikes aren’t getting tossed around. Finally use the SKS (Same Key System) to securely lock the bikes and the FullSwing to the hitch for travel. The SKS makes the adventurer’s life simple, so you only need one key to lock all your Yakima racks. Once you’ve come home from your adventures, take the bikes off, fold the padded arms down - nicely minimizing the size - so you can easily store your vehicle and FullSwing into a parking spot, or garage.
